It might be time to remind the millennials that all that glitters is not gold. At least some cryptocurrencies — the new-age investment asset class — are on the verge of extinction. After all, not all tokens are created equal.

In fact, every newly created blockchain copy comes with a two-part monetary reward: a fixed number of newly minted (“mined”) cryptocurrency units, and a variable number of existing units collected from optional transaction fees — typically less than 1% of the transaction value — paid by buyers.
When bitcoin was rising last year, it seemed like a trend everyone from your grandmother to your barista was suddenly becoming hip to. Of course plenty of folks cautioned that it could be a bubble, but it’s always hard to realize such a thing when you’re in the midst of it. It’s free money, right? Why not get in on it? Mistakes like this happen throughout finance when, for instance, traders mess up details of their intended trades, entering the wrong price or order size. An erroneously large trade, as one example, can overwhelm an exchange's order book, leading to a quick and massive decline. The entire U.S. stock market famously flash crashed back in May 2010, though equities have mostly avoided trouble since that era.
But even this kind of pullback could not kill the inherent uptrend and in one of our previous reports, we mentioned that a breakout above $62,500 was required for BTC to resume strength.
It has a shorter blockchain creation time (one minute) and a vastly greater number of coins in circulation — the creators’ target of 100 billion units mined by July 2015 was met, and there’s a supply limit of 5.2 billion units mined every year thereafter, with no known supply limit.
I present a model of cryptocurrency price formation that endogenizes both the financial market for coins and the fee-based market for blockchain space. A cryptocurrency has two distinctive features: a price determined by the extent of its usage as money, and a blockchain structure that restricts settlement capacity. Limited settlement space creates competition between users of the currency, so speculative activity can crowd out monetary usage. This crowding-out undermines the ability of a cryptocurrency to act as a medium of payment, lowering its value. Higher speculative demand can reduce prices, contrary to standard economic models. Crowding-out also raises the riskiness of investing in cryptocurrency, explaining high observed price volatility. 05 November 2021 Refinancing cross-subsidies in the mortgage... Another factor that crypto experts have mentioned regarding the competitiveness of the Safemoon coin is the speed of product release. Since the launch of the Safemoon token, only the Safemoon has been released. All other Safemoon products are in the development phase. This is not the case with the Safemoon coin contest, like Bitrise, which in short released several products, including a great dApp wallet.
One key point to note about Safemoon crypto is that the developers haven’t really described any real-world use cases yet. The Safemoon protocol was hyped hugely by celebrities back in May, causing retail investors to jump on the bandwagon and push price higher. Following this, the price fell dramatically, leading many to claim that Safemoon was a ‘pump and dump’ scheme designed to make certain investors rich.
There can be plenty of new cryptocurrency that can pop up and become popular all of a sudden which can confuse investors and those interested in cryptocurrency. One of the newest cryptocurrency that has come to the scene is SafeMoon which has seen a massive increase in interest lately.
