In the short term, situations occur where the factors lead the price and where the factors lag the price. However in most cases, the factor lags the price in the short term (seen by upward facing arrows near the top of each scalogram). This is understandable given short term changes appear likely to be the result of particular events, as discussed above. We further explore the significance of cryptocurrency fundamentals at the aggregate market level using traditional asset pricing tests. For this analysis, we construct risk factors that are based on aggregate values of computing power and network. We denote the aggregate computing power factor with ACP and aggregate network factor with ANET. The innovation in constructing these factors is that we express them in cryptocurrency return units following the factor mimicking portfolio approach (Knez et al. 1994, Lamont 2001, Vassalou 2003).

We’re certainly in a much different place now than we were 12 months ago. What was a hot commodity has turned into a hot potato nobody wants to touch. Still, this almost certainly won’t be the end for bitcoin, or cryptocurrencies as a whole. Despite the realization that it was a bubble, even the toughest critics see some sort of a future.
Despite this, any lack of trust in Binance has a knock-on effect when it comes to how users perceive its U.S. platform, due to the close association of the two. On reliability, the U.S. platform comes out on top. This does not mean that either have a good reputation. Binance has work to do, and lots of it.
How the price of Ethereum will change in the future is impossible to know for certain.
