Safemoon offers a unique way of investing in cryptocurrency, as people who hold Safemoon and then sell it are subject to a 10% fee. This fee is halved, with 5% of it being given back to other Safemoon holders – the developers call this ‘reflection’. The additional 5% is split again, with 2.5% being used within the liquidity pools on exchanges such Pancake Swap, with the other portion being converted into BNB.

NEW BUSINESS: Binance.US, the American arm of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, hired its first lobbying firms last month, newly filed disclosures show, as policymakers in Washington face calls to rein in the rapidly growing and mostly unregulated industry. Hogan Lovells’ Ivan Zapien, a Democratic lobbyist who previously was chief of staff to now-Senate Foreign Relations Chair Bob Menendez (D-N.J.), and former House GOP aides Aaron Cutler and Chase Kroll will lobby for the exchange.
Although this may seem like a negative, it actually means that if the Safemoon cryptocurrency were to showcase extreme growth, then any investments right now would be in at the ground level. Right now, the attention surrounding Safemoon is mainly negative, as many cryptocurrency market commentators are claiming that the token has no actual use except to make the development team and certain investors rich.
Something is brewing over at SafeMoon. The DeFi project is close to launching a widely anticipated V2. The team is targeting greater adoption and additional use cases with the launch of V2.
Some mainstream companies also view blockchain technology itself with interest, evaluating various uses such as supply chain. The future of cryptocurrency and its associated technology appears bright, judging by the growth and adoption that has been seen since 2008 when Nakamoto published the framework for a little asset called Bitcoin.
SafeMoon V2 involves the launch of an upgraded contract that has a change to the coin’s consolidation formula. Consolidation is a DeFi feature that the SafeMoon teams likens to reverse stock splits with the added idea that it will be beneficial for investors. It is a way for the team to “tidy up the numbers” without changing the actual ownership percentages among investors.
Considering there are no sudden jolts or risks ahead for cryptocurrency markets, SafeMoon is all set to affirm its strong position as a major attraction among its investor community. The road ahead is full of petals provided the investor confidence keeps booming, resulting in a major push to the price, taking it across all barriers scaling $0.000011.
It is the latest cryptocurrency to have seen a spike in interest since the turn of the year, following on from the success of Dogecoin, Bitcoin and Ripple XRP in recent weeks.
Although it is still on tokenomics, Safemoon does not offer investors better returns than competing companies like Bitrise. This is the reason why in the last few weeks there has been a mass movement of members of the Safemoon community joining Bitrise. This includes the whales of Safemoon. One of the reasons for this movement is the better return on investment of competing Safemoon parts.
One key point to note about Safemoon crypto is that the developers haven’t really described any real-world use cases yet. The Safemoon protocol was hyped hugely by celebrities back in May, causing retail investors to jump on the bandwagon and push price higher. Following this, the price fell dramatically, leading many to claim that Safemoon was a ‘pump and dump’ scheme designed to make certain investors rich.

Like most things with cryptocurrency, regulation comes with hurdles. “There are different agencies that may or may not have jurisdiction to oversee everything,” says Wang. “And it differs state by state.”
