Binance Smart Chains to introduce gas burning mechanism like Ethereum for increasing value of tokens
If there is one thing we all know about cryptocurrencies, it is that they are volatile. The stories about people making millions during a crypto upswing make the headlines frequently – but so do the stories of people who lose everything during the downswings.

Coinbase, which went public last week via direct listing, shaved about 10% off its share price this week, but was largely unaffected Friday in intraday trading.
The digital currency made its big Wall Street debut in December 2017, when the major futures exchanges rolled out Bitcoin futures. The attention drove Bitcoin to roughly $19,300, a then-unheard of price for the currency.
There have been previous reports that Binance.US keeps users’ USD in FDIC-insured accounts, but posts on the Binance.US site containing that information have since been deleted. While it doesn’t guarantee the same in case of a Binance.US hack, the international version of the exchange, Binance, covered all consumer losses after a $40 million hack in 2019.

Of course, crypto is notoriously volatile. The last time Bitcoin reached these levels, it fell back several thousand dollars, and it’s undergone multiple corrections that take it down by half or more. Other coins are even more volatile – the memecoins bounce back and forth wildly at times – and scams and hacks occur with some frequency.

It can be seen from Fig 6 that coherence in the short run is erratic throughout the time interval analysed, and that there is little appreciable difference between the bubble and non-bubble regimes. However in the medium term (8–16 and 16–32 days), coherence generally peaks around areas where bubbles have been identified in the price series. The longer term relationship, though, is less dependent on whether the price is in a bubble phase.
There are thousands of different cryptocurrencies available today. The most popular — and the original — is Bitcoin, which was created in 2009. Other common cryptocurrencies include Ethereum, XRP, and Bitcoin Cash. Each of these currencies serves a different purpose, with some optimized for use in place of cash, and others designed for private, direct transactions.
