SafeMoon Protocol is a decentralized finance (DeFi) token. The protocol launched in March 2021 and has already more than 1 million users. SafeMoon protocol is a combination of RFI tokenomics and an auto-liquidity generating protocol. According to the SafeMoon website, SafeMoon has three functions that take place during each trade: Reflection, LP Acquisition and Burn. Despite the massive swing in value on the Binance US exchange, Bitcoin’s value on other exchanges remained stable. There has been speculation on the exact cause of the spike, though Binance offered a short statement to Bloomberg explaining that one of its institutional traders was responsible.
If you already have a wallet on the Binance Smart Chain, getting Safemoon is as simple as exchanging it for any other token in your wallet on a decentralized exchange (DEX) such as PancakeSwap.
A look at recent charts shows that Safemoon has been on a downtrend since early November. Safemoon has also not been doing very well since its last all-time high around April 21, 2021. Despite rising in mid-May, the next time Safemoon saw bullish growth was at the end of October.

We should also point out that if we had been given labels on the Y-axis (which obviously we are not), it might become clear that these “daily Covid cases” refer to US Covid cases. Because while a US chart looks exactly like the one above, a chart showing worldwide Covid cases doesn’t; instead it looks like this (according to Google):

(REUTERS) 1 min read . Updated: 21 Oct 2021, 09:54 PM IST Bloomberg The price of Bitcoin appeared to rapidly — and only temporarily — plunge about 87% on Binance’s U.S. exchange Thursday morning, sinking to as low as $8,200 from around $65,000. The price did nothing like that on other venues, and on Binance the level almost immediately snapped back to where it had been. The plunge occurred at 7:34 a.m. New York time, according to Binance’s website. Volume on the exchange in that minute was 592.8 Bitcoins, which are worth just shy of $40 million at current prevailing prices. Mistakes like this happen throughout finance when, for instance, traders mess up details of their intended trades, entering the wrong price or order size. An erroneously large trade, as one example, can overwhelm an exchange’s order book, leading to a quick and massive decline. The entire U.S. stock market famously flash crashed back in May 2010, though equities have mostly avoided trouble since that era. This is the latest in a string of recent high-profile trading problems in crypto. Synthetify, a new decentralized exchange, was forced to shut down for a while earlier this month shortly after its debut because of bad data provided by the Pyth Network, a price feed backed by some of the world’s most well-known trading and exchange firms. Pyth malfunctioned another time in September, erroneously making it appear that Bitcoin had crashed 90%.
SafeMoon happens to be one of the most transparent and decentralized assets. No wonder its advantages override its limitations. That is the reason investors tend to buy SafeMoon with confidence and tracking future SafeMoon price predictions.
Released in 2011, Litecoin (LTC) uses the same basic structure as Bitcoin. Key differences include a higher programmed supply limit (84 million units) and a shorter target blockchain creation time (2.5 minutes).
Karony likens SafeMoon’s holder payments to the beginnings of businesses like Amazon.com Inc., where “earlier investors receive higher returns and growth because the initial risk they took was higher than those who joined later.”
