This can be confusing if you’re unfamiliar with exchange lingo; on other exchanges, this type of trading and fee structure is typically used in more advanced platform options, such as Coinbase’s Coinbase Pro or Gemini’s Active Trader.
In fairness, this is not due to any failing from Binance.US specifically, but rather, is due to the regulatory hurdles it must contend with. That being said, Binance.US currently has 53 cryptocurrencies (including stablecoins) available for trading.

The country will be the first to recognise the crypto-currency as legal tender from September 7.

Of course, crypto is notoriously volatile. The last time Bitcoin reached these levels, it fell back several thousand dollars, and it’s undergone multiple corrections that take it down by half or more. Other coins are even more volatile – the memecoins bounce back and forth wildly at times – and scams and hacks occur with some frequency.
Zhao said the U.S. division won't initially launch in New York since it has not obtained a BitLicense (which is issued by the New York State Department of Financial Services) and neither has BAM, which is regulated by the U.S. Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
