Additionally, crypto regulation outside the U.S. has changed over time, based on evolving regulatory guidelines. The fifth Anti-Money Laundering Directive from the European Union, for example, entails that crypto buying, selling and other operations must comply with certain guidelines in certain regions.
When it comes to fees, both platforms have the same standard fee of 0.1%. The difference is that additional fees vary, depending on whether you are within the U.S. or not. For example, fees for bank transfers to your Binance account are free outside the U.S. However, depending on your method of transfer, U.S. users may pay up to 4.5%.

The company has grown to become one of the biggest names in crypto by allowing anyone to use its service to trade myriad tokens, many of which are unavailable or limited on other exchanges. But over the past year, Binance has matured and begun to offer more formalized services. Following fiat currency exchange launches in the U.K., Uganda and Singapore, Binance is opening a dedicated U.S. exchange to avoid uncertainty around its legality.
