Synthetify, a new decentralized exchange, was forced to shut down for a while earlier this month shortly after its debut because of bad data provided by the Pyth Network, a price feed backed by some of the world's most well-known trading and exchange firms. Pyth malfunctioned another time in September, erroneously making it appear that Bitcoin had crashed 90%.

(Bloomberg) -- Crypto exchange Binance.US, whose chief executive officer recently resigned, just appointed a new president.

Although Binance.US is growing fast and is now considered to be one of the top exchanges in the United States, it doesn’t measure up to its parent company, Binance.
There are hundreds of cryptocurrency exchanges already, and dozens based in the U.S. Trade volume on Binance is currently $1.2 billion compared to $660 million on Coinbase Pro, $355 million on Kraken, $75 million on Gemini and $47 million on Poloniex, according to CoinMarketCap as of publication. About 20 percent of traffic to Binance.com comes from the U.S., according to research from The Block.
