It can be observed that in the short term (2–4 and 4–8 day period band) there is no consistency in results; in some cases the null hypothesis can be rejected and in some cases it cannot. In the medium term there is more consistency in rejection of the null hypothesis in favour of bubble regime coherence values significantly exceeding the non-bubble regime values. In the long term, the proportion of instances exhibiting statistical significance reduces, with the majority of cases in the 256–512 band not being a rejection of the null hypothesis. This reduction of statistically significant differences when considering longer term periods further emphasises the point that it is the medium term in which coherences tend to strengthen during bubble regimes.

Binance.US was founded in 2019 in response to regulations that impacted Binance’s business in the United States. U.S. regulators believed some of the crypto assets that Binance’s trading platform allowed a user to trade were essentially securities. A security is a category of financial products which includes stocks, bonds, and specialized derivatives like futures. Trading in securities in the United States requires extensive licensing. Rather than change its main exchange to suit U.S. regulations, Binance instead created a separate exchange for U.S. customers, called Binance.US.
It’s certainly fascinating to watch Binance, which has historically been one of the most aggressive crypto companies, transition into a more regulatory-compliant business. At the same time, those who have been cautious, such as Coinbase, are beginning to add new assets.
