Nonfungible tokens, or NFTs, are yet another type of cryptocurrency, denoting that it is a one-of-a-kind asset and cannot be replaced. A Bitcoin, for example, is fungible, meaning you can exchange one for another and get precisely the identical thing. However, a one-of-a-kind trade card, on the other hand, cannot be duplicated. You’d get something altogether different if you swapped it for a different card.
Several other regulators, including from Hong Kong, Germany, Japan, Italy, and Thailand, followed with various warnings, with the Netherlands the latest to do so this week. Hong Kong initially raised the alarm over crypto derivatives related to listed stocks which Binance stopped offering last month. Crypto exchanges on a growth path shared a few common traits: they're larger, more innovative and offer more digital assets than their competitors.
China announced in September that all cryptocurrency transactions in the country are illegal, effectively putting the brakes on any crypto-related activities within Chinese borders. In the U.S., things are less clear. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said recently that he has “no intention” of banning cryptocurrency in the U.S while Security and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler has consistently commented on both his own agency’s and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s role in policing the industry.

In late 2012, WordPress became the first major merchant to accept payment in Bitcoin. Others, including online electronics retailer Newegg.com, Expedia, Microsoft, and Tesla followed. Countless merchants now view the world’s most popular cryptocurrency as a legitimate payment method.
The SafeMoon coin has been making top predictions for months now, and it won’t be slowing down anytime soon. Forecasting site WalletInvestor predicts that the price could reach $0.000002 by November 1st, while Gov Capital forecasted its value will dive to zero in May 2022. In between these two extremes, there is still plenty of growth potential.
Last Tuesday, Squid was trading at just 1 cent. In less than a week its price had jumped to over $2,856.
Bitcoin had rallied 220% in 4Q 2017 and if history repeats itself, Bitcoin could reach $96,355, which could potentially be this cycle’s top.
Currently, the global crypto market cap stands at $2.94 trillion, an increase of 3.21%. Other cryptocurrencies were also trading in the green.

Musk reaffirmed his belief that cryptocurrency has a “promising future” but that it “cannot come at great cost to the environment”, in his Twitter post.
The original cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, is a capped cryptocurrency. This means after 21 million Bitcoins are mined, no more will be mined.

In 2017, Changpeng Zhao (also known as CZ), founded Binance. Zhao’s background includes developing high frequency trading software as well as working as an executive at another cryptocurrency exchange, OKCoin.
Gensler recently went so far as to say investors are “likely to get hurt” if stricter regulation is not introduced. Plus, the IRS has an obvious interest in making sure investors know how to report virtual currency when they file their taxes.
