Bitcoin notches new all-time high after inflation data shows prices are surging at the fastest rate in 30 years
The BraveNewCoin aggregated index is chosen as the source of data for Bitcoin, Ethereum and Monero. The BraveNewCoin aggregated index is not used for Litecoin as their index for Litecoin only starts in April 2014 and misses earlier price action. Instead, Litecoin data is retrieved from the BTC-E time series. It should be noted BTC-E has recently (25th July 2017) been shut down by US authorities, however this is after the data interval examined. It has been observed that price differences do exist between cryptocurrency exchanges [19], and it is expected the BTC-E price over time will be different to other exchanges, however with the possibility of exchange arbitrage, prices on different exchanges are reasonably similar.

One of the fastest-growing pension markets in the world could be about to dive into crypto.
JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, for instance, made multiple comments throughout the year expressing his general antipathy for cryptocurrency. Dimon’s thoughts could most easily be summed with this quote: “I don’t really give a shit about bitcoin.” Warren Buffett also didn’t have kind words–calling it “probably rat poison squared”–which almost certainly sent a clear message to curious investors.

While much of the trust and reputation of both Binance and Binance.US depends on the support and functionality of the two platforms, customer support is not the only factor that may affect their reputation. One such factor is the number of outages that the platforms have had, something far more common in the rest of the world than in the U.S. and a particular issue in mainland Europe. On this basis, Binance.US (despite being the newer platform) has experienced far fewer problems recently, boosting its reputation in territories that can access it.

Developed in 2012 by Toronto-based programmer Vitalik Buterin, and backed by an initial $18 million crowdfund, Ether (ETH) is a cryptocurrency that underpins a blockchain network called Ethereum. — Meanwhile, Rover, the pet care site sometimes referred to along with its competitor Wag as the Uber of dog walking, has retained Mercury Public Affairs as its first outside lobbying firm. Mercury’s Mike McSherry, an alum of the RNC, Republican Governors’ Association and Labor Department, will lobby for Rover on tax and labor classification issues — a development that comes as the Biden administration has pledged to recognize workers dispatched by apps as employees rather than contractors. Gig companies are also facing new tax reporting requirements beginning next year, thanks to the coronavirus stimulus bill signed into law by President Joe Biden in March.
According to Karony, other future plans include a yet-to-be-unveiled initiative that’s “fuel to the freedom of the un-banked.” And while SafeMoon was created on the Binance Smart Chain blockchain, the company said that it’s in the process of launching its own exchange platform this summer to establish a liquidity pool.
At time of press, this was SafeMoon’s latest update; there was no confirmation that the issues were persisting or had been taken care of.
