The relationships link online activity increases to price falls (the converse is not observed). I present a model of cryptocurrency price formation that endogenizes both the financial market for coins and the fee-based market for blockchain space. A cryptocurrency has two distinctive features: a price determined by the extent of its usage as money, and a blockchain structure that restricts settlement capacity. Limited settlement space creates competition between users of the currency, so speculative activity can crowd out monetary usage. This crowding-out undermines the ability of a cryptocurrency to act as a medium of payment, lowering its value. Higher speculative demand can reduce prices, contrary to standard economic models. Crowding-out also raises the riskiness of investing in cryptocurrency, explaining high observed price volatility. 05 November 2021 Refinancing cross-subsidies in the mortgage... Overall, we’d urge you to do your own research if you were to invest in Safemoon. Common investment advice states that the cryptocurrencies which perform the best over the longer term are those with real-world utility, which Safemoon doesn’t seem to have at present. Although the developers may improve the protocol and create some valuable use cases, there is still the chance that this coin could be a ‘memecoin’.
Binance.US will launch in partnership with a firm called BAM Trading Services, which was generally unknown until the announcement of the partnership and faceless until the appointment of former Ripple exec Catherine Coley as CEO, in July.
Even if this were the case, and Safemoon coin was to increase in price dramatically before an instant fall, it would still represent a good investment for purely speculative investors. For example, if Safemoon were to simply return to the all-time high experienced on April 20th, then that would represent an incredible 921% return from today’s price!
