While its price had fallen slightly from a 24 hour high of $68,525 on Tuesday morning to $67,983.80 as of 2.10pm, Bitcoin’s price hike still represents a year-on-year increase of more than 300% on last November’s value.
Dogecoin, which was initially set up as a joke in 2012 before seeing its shares skyrocket, has also dropped while Solana has seen its market price rise by more than 8%.

Spot trading means you’re not technically “buying” the cryptocurrency, but instead trading your USD for it through either a market or a limit order. Exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Equatorial Guinea are expected to resume after more than six weeks of disruption following an incident at the Alba gas processing facility, trading sources and the plant operator said. Sources have told Reuters in October that force majeure has been declared at the facility and some LNG cargoes have been deferred or canceled. The West African Punta Europa LNG plant is expected to export its first cargo since Sept. 25.
