Numerous promises were made by the Safemoon team, which haven’t been delivered on. Although the price decreases could be a variety of things, it’s likely a slow burn of investors selling their holdings and depressing the price.
As explained in its roadmap, the SafeMoon team hope to begin a "community listing donation raise for several exchanges" in Q3 2021. As of July 21, this has not yet started.

One such factor is the number of outages that the platforms have had, something far more common in the rest of the world than in the U.S. and a particular issue in mainland Europe. On this basis, Binance.US (despite being the newer platform) has experienced far fewer problems recently, boosting its reputation in territories that can access it.
