What is SafeMoon? The new cryptocurrency and how it compares to DogeCoin and Bitcoin
Cryptocurrency is a type of currency that’s digital and decentralized. Cryptocurrencies can be used to buy and sell things, and their potential to store and grow value has also caught the eye of many investors.
It comes after the cryptocurrency dipped by approximately after surging to $67,700 in late October as traders appeared to pull back in anticipation of another price pump.
Atlanta, US, Sept. 22, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The crypto world is changing every day. We have seen many successful new cryptocurrencies exploding like DOGECOIN & SAFEMOON. But how high will Bitcoin go? Bitcoin’s past may provide some clues, according to Kiana Danial, author of “Cryptocurrency Investing for Dummies.”
Cryptocurrency — also known as crypto — is a digital currency designed to work as a medium of exchange. It uses cryptography to secure and verify transactions, as well as to control the creation of new units of a particular digital currency.
SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador (AP) — Salvadorans trying to pay for a cup of coffee or receive money sent from relatives in the United States using the cryptocurrency bitcoin continued struggling to perform transactions Wednesday, a day after El Salvador made it legal tender.
“Expect very high volatility in crypto over the next few months,” he tweeted on Oct. 21.
One example is the negative correlation that occurs between Ethereum and its associated factors around June 2016 (left facing arrows at the top and just left of the horizontal middle of the Ethereum scalograms). During this time interval, one of the most well-known applications at the time, the DAO, built on top of the Ethereum environment, was hacked. It can be seen that all factors are negatively correlated in the short term with the price during this time interval. As a result of the uncertainty generated by the hack, price dropped sharply, but activity on social media and interest increased (causing the negative correlation). The negative relationship can be seen during the 2–4 day band for all factors.
Crypto coins use the process of mining and the resulting blockchain as a physical measure of the currency. This is similar to how Reserve Banks used to have gold reserves that backed their fiat currencies.
OK perhaps that’s a little far-fetched. But what is behind crypto’s crazy climb over the past 18 months, we hear you ask? We don’t mean to suggest that the pandemic hasn’t been involved, because we think it has, but not in the way that this chart criminal implies — not, in other words, because it’s some kind of safe haven that traders flock to when they are worried about Covid cases rising; the data don’t bear that idea out.
The sudden spike in selling pressure pushed the flagship cryptocurrency to a low of $62,050, easing nearly 5,000 points in market value. Although prices have bounced back above $63,000 in the last few hours, it remains to be seen whether BTC can hold above support.
Taking everything into consideration, our Safemoon price prediction 2025 is still relatively optimistic about this token. As there doesn’t seem to be any real-world utility yet, which is why people buy Cardano and other useful cryptocurrencies, it’ll likely put off investors from placing large amounts of capital into the project. For that reason, we’d imagine a modest price rise to $0.000025 by 2025.
