This is just one example, but it definitely highlights the difference between trading on Binance and Binance.US. Although small traders won't make much of an impact on either exchange, all else being equal, most traders would prefer to trade against the larger book, rather than the smaller one.
The demand for a cryptocurrency depends on many factors. Demand will be increased based on how useful it is to own the coins. This means if the crypto monetary system works well (i.e. fast transactions and low fees), if smart contracts become more commonplace, and if more businesses start to accept crypto, the demand for crypto will increase. Additionally, there is an increased demand for cryptocurrencies as a store of value investment.

ATLANTA, Oct. 29, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- The crypto market has seen its best performance during the pandemic, which completely changed how people view it as investors. Projects like SAFEMOON, DOGECOIN, SHIBA INU, and more changed many lives by giving over 100x returns.
But the hacks didn’t stop. In 2016, the DAO–a blockchain organization that was based on Ethereum–lost what was worth $50 million at the time, due to a technical error someone seized upon. This, once again, sent shockwaves through the community–but also had the unfortunate impact of normalizing these types of hacks for some people.
As explained in its roadmap, the SafeMoon team hope to begin a "community listing donation raise for several exchanges" in Q3 2021. As of July 21, this has not yet started.
Thus, Binance.US will not initially support its projects such as BitTorrent (47th by market capitalization), Fetch.AI (207), Celer (180) and Matic Network (127), despite having these raise capital on the Binance Launchpad platform.
Going forward, it's impossible to know for sure how the value will change and whether it could rise further.
