“One of our institutional traders indicated to us that they had a bug in their trading algorithm, which appears to have caused the sell-off,” Binance.US said in an emailed statement. “We are continuing to look into the event, but understand from the trader that they have now fixed their bug and that the issue appears to have been resolved.”

Both moving averages are sloping up and the relative strength index (RSI) is near the overbought territory, indicating that bulls are in control.
Overall, it appears from these results that cryptocurrencies may experience short term intervals of co-movement, caused by sector wide news or cross market contagion, though correlation is likely to change dependent on the nature of the causal event and market environment. The interface and many features are the same, but there are differences such as the amount of cryptocurrencies available to trade in the U.S. vs. elsewhere, as well as which states Binance.US is allowed to operate in. United States users cannot buy crypto using the international Binance platform.
