SafeMoon was created by Karony and two of his fellow developers from TANO, a Provo, Utah-based video game studio with a bare-bones website. It launched in March with a big social media push, including a giveaway of 100 billion tokens (then trading for less than $0.00000001 each) for “lucky winners” who followed @safemoon, liked and retweeted then tagged three friends.
There are many cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets that provide great features for trading and investment, but one of the main platforms is Binance. Founded by Changpeng Zhao, a developer who built a number of different investment tools, the platform has grown massively over the years. One particular question remains: Binance vs. Binance.US.

In Bhambhwani et al. (2019), we challenge the perception that cryptocurrency markets are simply plagued with bubbles and speculative trading by identifying two key blockchain measures that affect cryptocurrency prices. Specifically, theory suggests that the trustworthiness and the transaction benefits of a blockchain are important determinants of cryptocurrency values. Pagnotta and Buraschi (2018) link trustworthiness to the computing power devoted to the blockchain. Biais et al. (2018) link transaction benefits of a cryptocurrency to the size of its network.

Yet some crypto watchers have raised red flags over SafeMoon’s unusual structure. It charges a 10 per cent fee to buy tokens and another 10 per cent to sell — almost unheard of in the digital currency world. Half of these fees are paid to owners as an incentive to keep holding and the other half goes into a liquidity pool controlled by the developers. SafeMoon calls itself a DeFi token, or one that uses decentralized finance to govern functions through software, but it has a chief executive officer and chief operating officer. Critics also worry about the discretionary nature of the “manual” coin burns used to adjust its circulation. "Nowadays new coins can be listed on decentralised exchanges on the first day they are created, without any regulation or due diligence," said Jinnan Ouyang from Singapore-based crypto company Openmining.
DAVIDSON: Maybe the best answer is slowly at first and then all of a sudden, which is the same way people go bankrupt, by the way.
For users of Binance.US, while liquidity is not a major issue, Binance does support more liquidity, enabling faster transactions and trades, something which is important for the world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchange. Still, the U.S. platform is still to catch up when it comes to providing users with the same amount of liquidity and ease when trading.
It is a meme coin in the same sense as Shiba Inu, but has failed to live up to its promises. SafeMoon is the perfect example of why having a product first is what matters. Investors bought into the token thanks to its promises, and now the token is plummeting. It is a story warning investors of falling for grandiosity.
Through instructions in their source codes, cryptocurrencies automatically adjust to the amount of mining power working to create new blockchain copies — copies become more difficult to create as mining power increases and easier to create as mining power decreases.
— In a 1,500-word memo obtained by The New York Times over the weekend, the company’s top lobbyist, Nick Clegg, sought to rebut Haugen’s allegations ahead of her unveiling in an episode of “60 Minutes” on Sunday night. “Social media has had a big impact on society in recent years, and Facebook is often a place where much of this debate plays out,” he said in the memo, in which he called Haugen’s impending accusations, which included blaming Facebook for January’s insurrection at the Capitol, “misleading.” He wrote that “what evidence there is simply does not support the idea that Facebook, or social media more generally, is the primary cause of polarization.”
With its bullish structure now invalidated, those looking for long positions will need to eye support levels at $2.44 and $2.2. Should the crypto market remain bearish (with BTC having a probability of revisiting $60-62K), these levels are likely to come into play.
P.S. the only way to reach support is through email and when you send an email don’t be expecting to get a response back from their support team, I sent an email a few months ago and still haven’t heard back from them. The developer, Binance LTD, indicated that the app’s privacy practices may include handling of data as described below. For more information, see the developer’s privacy policy.
On the products, Bitrise Audits and Techrate Audit, are programs that offer free audit programs for blockchains and smart contracts. So far, hundreds of developers have used these programs to audit their platform's integrity. Bitrise dApp wallet is the second product, and the team recently released Beta 2 version. The wallet is superior to the Safemoon wallet in so many aspects, including GUI usability.
The week has been much more successful for some of SAFEMOON’s fellow DeFi tokens. Kava.io (KAVA) hit an all-time high on August 22, and data indicated that it has made a couple of further attempts to reach those heights since. In addition, Terra (LUNA) also achieved its latest all-time high, hitting $36.61 in the morning of August 29. This milestone is the result of an impressive total growth of nearly 30%. It also brings the token closer to a spot in the top 10 most valuable cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. LUNA is currently ranked 11th.
GURA: Their market cap worldwide is now close to $2.5 trillion, which is almost as large as the GDP of France. Even the big Wall Street banks now trade bitcoin. And Gary Gensler, the head of the Securities and Exchange Commission, shares Warren's concerns. Here's what he said in a recent speech.
However, exchange pricing can still be extremely volatile. For example, Bitcoin’s U.S. dollar exchange rate fell by more than 50% in the wake of Mt. Gox’s collapse, then increased roughly tenfold during 2017 as cryptocurrency demand exploded.
