It is also important to mention that Bitrise is one of the coins that Safemoon lost whales to a while back. This is just one of the signs that Safemoon is in deep trouble.

Business News›Markets›Cryptocurrency›Top cryptocurrency prices today: Solana, Binance Coin fall; XRP jumps 9%
Bitcoin–and the cryptocurrency industry as a whole–plunged this year, after a gravity-defying surge in recent years. The price of the digital coin hit nearly $20,000 late last year. And then in early 2018, it began to fall. Though it hit a few plateaus, the price has still tumbled; today it hovers at a little over $3,000.
A look at the recent charts shows that Safemoon has been on a downward trend since the start of November. Safemoon has also not been doing very well since its last all-time high around 21st April 2021. Despite a surge in mid-May, the next time Safemoon experienced bullish growth was the end of October.
"With more participants in Bitcoin, there is perhaps less volatility, which is in turn attracting more institutional investors and further promoting the stability of the popular cryptocurrency.”
Bitcoin’s latest big jump also isn’t anything new. “While in the long-term Bitcoin’s price has generally gone up, we experience a lot of volatility along the way,” says Kiana Danial, founder of Invest Diva.

Yet in some ways, the crypto crowd were not wrong. In the almost 18 months since Covid-19 was declared a pandemic, the price of bitcoin has risen by about 525 per cent, from just under $8,000 to a three-month high just above $50,000 on Monday. XRP has climbed by a similar amount to trade around the $1.25 mark.

The BraveNewCoin aggregated index is chosen as the source of data for Bitcoin, Ethereum and Monero. The BraveNewCoin aggregated index is not used for Litecoin as their index for Litecoin only starts in April 2014 and misses earlier price action. Instead, Litecoin data is retrieved from the BTC-E time series. It should be noted BTC-E has recently (25th July 2017) been shut down by US authorities, however this is after the data interval examined. It has been observed that price differences do exist between cryptocurrency exchanges [19], and it is expected the BTC-E price over time will be different to other exchanges, however with the possibility of exchange arbitrage, prices on different exchanges are reasonably similar.
