The Fibonacci retracement indicator, measured from the Oct. 17 swing low at $3,640 to the Oct. 21 swing high at $4,375, suggests that Ethereum is sitting on stable support. The combination of the 50% Fibonacci retracement level with the 50 four-hour moving average at $3,922 is the most significant interest area underneath ETH.
All the signs, however, were there. Like previous bubbles, people were basing their belief in the cryptocurrency on their emotions, not any intrinsic value. Then there was the FOMO element, which only compounded things. Essentially, bitcoin became an international fever. Random companies were “pivoting to blockchain” for no apparent reason other than that it seemed like a way to create buzz. But when the bubble bursts, FOMO turns into fear of losing, which makes for an especially rapid plunge.

SafeMoon burst on to the cryptocurrency market place earlier this year – and now the digital coin is seeing further gains.

Yet some crypto watchers have raised red flags over SafeMoon’s unusual structure. It charges a 10 per cent fee to buy tokens and another 10 per cent to sell — almost unheard of in the digital currency world. Half of these fees are paid to owners as an incentive to keep holding and the other half goes into a liquidity pool controlled by the developers. Plenty of altcoins have also taken a beating. Dogecoin erased the breakneck gains of the week and then some, nearly halving its price after a meteoric climb last weekend. XRP is down 35% week-over-week, Stellar is down 30% and Polkadot is down 25% since last week.
When the coin gets accepted the way Dogecoin and Shiba Inu have, SafeMoon’s price could propel to new highs. It’s only a matter of time for that to happen and won’t take too long to get there.
