China announced in September that all cryptocurrency transactions in the country are illegal, effectively putting the brakes on any crypto-related activities within Chinese borders. In the U.S., things are less clear. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said recently that he has “no intention” of banning cryptocurrency in the U.S while Security and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler has consistently commented on both his own agency’s and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s role in policing the industry.

Bitcoin is down roughly 20% week-over-week, around 30% from its all-time high of nearly $65,000 early last week. The market cap of the coin has dipped below $1 trillion. The tumble has been less severe for Ethereum, which hit an all-time high just yesterday but has since dropped 13% as the broader market has crawled back.
Another factor that crypto experts have mentioned regarding the competitiveness of Safemoon coin is the speed of releasing products. Since the Safemoon token was launched, only the Safemoon has been released. All other Safemoon products are in the development stage. This is not the case with the Safemoon coin competition, like Bitrise, which in short has released multiple products, including a super dApp wallet.
