GURA: A HODLer is crypto-speak for someone who bought cryptocurrency and who's held on to it, despite its extreme volatility. SafeMoon technically isn't a cryptocurrency but a DeFi token, according to its website.
Identical copies of the blockchain are stored in every node of the cryptocurrency’s software network — the network of decentralized server farms, run by computer-savvy individuals or groups of individuals known as miners, that continually record and authenticate cryptocurrency transactions.
SafeMoon recorded a 99% rise in one day in April after Bitcoin had its biggest single drop for months.
Online factors exhibit stronger relationships in the long term, and such relationships were found to be consistently positive. We set the stage for our formal econometric analysis by providing some graphical evidence. For example, in Figure 1, we see a close mapping of the prices of Bitcoin and Ethereum with their respective computing power values. Moreover, in Figure 2, we observe an even stronger mapping of the prices of Bitcoin and Ethereum with their respective network values. Interestingly, these graphs also show that when prices significantly exceed the trend in computing power or network (as was the case in late 2017), prices eventually fall and trace the trend in fundamentals. The convergence of prices to the trend with fundamentals suggests that fundamentals are the ultimate, long-run determinants of prices.
Plenty of altcoins have also taken a beating. Dogecoin erased the breakneck gains of the week and then some, nearly halving its price after a meteoric climb last weekend. XRP is down 35% week-over-week, Stellar is down 30% and Polkadot is down 25% since last week.
Coinye was developed under the original moniker “Coinye West” in 2013, and identified by an unmistakable likeness of hip-hop superstar Kanye West. Shortly before Coinye’s release, in early 2014, West’s legal team caught wind of the currency’s existence and sent its creators a cease-and-desist letter.
