Although mining periodically produces new cryptocurrency units, most cryptocurrencies are designed to have a finite supply — a key guarantor of value.
We also consider two additional factors that account for the finding that in some periods prices drift away from fundamentals. The first factor is the return of Bitcoin. We argue that Bitcoin, being the largest and most traded cryptocurrency, is the most perceptible to sentiment and speculative trading by investors. Thus, as a factor, it can capture periods when trading forces unrelated to fundamentals are the strongest. The second factor is a cryptocurrency price momentum factor that we construct following the seminal work of Jegadeesh and Titman (1993). Momentum effects have been linked to investor psychology (e.g. Barberis et al. 1998).

Bitcoin hit a high of more than $60,000 in April, and the ups and downs since then highlight the cryptocurrency’s volatility in a time when more and more people are interested in getting in on the action. In the weeks between the most recent July low point and its high points in recent weeks, Bitcoin has risen steadily. Again, Bitcoin is very volatile, so these ups and downs are par for the course.
The first cryptocurrency was bitcoin. The bitcoin domain was registered in 2008, but the first transaction took place in 2009. It was developed by someone called ‘Satoshi Nakamoto’. However, there is speculation that Nakamoto is a pseudonym as the bitcoin creator is notoriously secretive, and no one knows whether ‘he’ is a person or a group.
As its name suggests, you can use cryptocurrency to make purchases. But your purchasing power is limited; crypto isn’t yet widely accepted among retailers and other businesses.
A cryptocurrency transaction technically isn’t finalized until it’s added to the blockchain, which usually occurs within minutes. Once the transaction is finalized, it’s usually irreversible.
As transactions increase, the service charge will be gradually decreased up to by 10%, thus bridging the gap between early and late investors. 4JNET’s early investors need to pay high service charges even if they buy at an earlier time, which are automatically put into the liquidity pool to promote steady price increase and alleviate price instability that results from the selling pressure.
The much-awaited Bitrise dApp wallets have also been released and have been central in driving the coin's value, especially when the Beta 2 version was released. Bitrise wallet is available on Google Play Store for Android phones and currently waiting for listing on Apple App for iOS phones. The wallet combines an intuitive interface with powerful functionality.
In order to not only favor early investors, 4JNET plans to decrease service charges by up to 10%. The decrease will go into effect as transaction volume increases, providing a bridge between early and late investors.
