The popularity of the Bitrise coin has grown exponentially as more and more Shiba Inu. Dogecoin members are joining the cryptocurrency. At this point, there’s no mention that they would like to change their structure for transactions with zero P2P (person-to-person) transaction fees, which can be found in local currency.
Meanwhile, even the most enthusiastic bitcoin evangelists are realizing that a retooling is in order. Michael J. Casey, a senior adviser for blockchain research at MIT’s Digital Currency Initiative, recently wrote about how the crypto-winter has arrived, but it may lead to better things down the line:

The U.S. firm shares a name with Binance Holdings Ltd., the world’s biggest crypto exchange -- and Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance Holdings, is chairman of the board at Binance.US. Binance Holdings faces a U.S. Justice Department investigation into whether its platform has facilitated money laundering and tax evasion. Numerous countries have also announced probes and demanded that Binance curtail or amend operations within their borders.
The difference between a digital currency and a cryptocurrency is that the latter is decentralised, meaning it is not issued or backed by a central authority such as a central bank or government. Instead, cryptocurrencies run across a network of computers. Digital currencies have all the characteristics of traditional currencies but exist only in the digital world. They are issued by a central authority.
