The digital currency made its big Wall Street debut in December 2017, when the major futures exchanges rolled out Bitcoin futures. The attention drove Bitcoin to roughly $19,300, a then-unheard of price for the currency.
When the coin gets accepted the way Dogecoin and Shiba Inu have, SafeMoon’s price could propel to new highs. It’s only a matter of time for that to happen and won’t take too long to get there.

Although the hype around this coin isn’t as much as it was at some point, it is still a strong digital coin that’s attracting several investors. While cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin have limited coin supply, Dogecoin doesn’t have limits. As a result, something that started is now a cryptocurrency with several supporters and investors, including celebrities and billionaires, notably Elon Musk.
SafeMoon stands from "Safely to the Moon", a phrase that was adopted by Redditors about DogeCoin which refers to the price flying upwards "as high as the Moon".
Among the cryptocurrencies that could disrupt Safemoon is the Bitrise coin, which is the fastest growing crypto at the time of writing. The coin was launched at the end of July. Shiba Inu is another piece that has been doing very well since its launch in August. However, experts have pitted Safemoon against Bitrise, which is now billed as the next “Safemoon”.
Of course, crypto is notoriously volatile. The last time Bitcoin reached these levels, it fell back several thousand dollars, and it’s undergone multiple corrections that take it down by half or more. Other coins are even more volatile – the memecoins bounce back and forth wildly at times – and scams and hacks occur with some frequency.
This past autumn, the bitcoin cash community–which was created due to a technical disagreement with the larger bitcoin sector–started a civil war. Essentially, bitcoin cash developers had diverging views on the software update for the system, and so they decided to implement another hard fork. This created two new bitcoin cash sects. Another institutional hit for bitcoin–which probably had the most sustained effect–was the SEC’s refusal to approve a bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF). This would be a path for more mainstream people in finance to dabble with blockchain; it would allow investors to dip their toes in bitcoin without owning the actual asset. Not only that, but it would make bitcoin available on the most prominent financial markets. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), however, has yet to allow such a fund to exist–mostly because it is unable to monitor crypto-transactions in order to avoid market manipulation.
