Although few cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin are widely accepted for merchant payments, increasingly active exchanges allow holders to exchange them for Bitcoin or fiat currencies — providing critical liquidity and flexibility. Since the late 2010s, big business and institutional investors have closely watched what they call the “crypto space” too.

Kroger says it was hit with a fake press release falsely claiming the nationwide grocer would be accepting Bitcoin Cash
However, while there are some organisations that accept it as currency, others shy away due to Bitcoin’s dramatic price swings. Driven largely by speculation, the price per Bitcoin rose sharply from $1,151 in January 2017, to an all-time high of $19,783 in December the same year.* It then dropped to below $7,000 by February 2018 and rallied again to around $11,000 over a matter of days, before plunging once more to trade below $4,000. Long term relationships also strengthen, to some extent, around areas indicated as bubbles. The previously observed long term relationship between Google Trends and Bitcoin price [8] can also be seen here, between late 2012 and 2014 (period band 64–256). With the benefit of extra data it can be observed that the relationship disappears around 2014 (for lower period bands) and 2015 (for higher period bands), before the relationships start occurring more consistently in 2016 and 2017 (a region with a number of bubbles identified). The previously observed relationship between Wikipedia views and Bitcoin observed in 2013 (64–128 band), disappears before again returning in mid-2016 and 2017.

The huge spikes in April and May have been followed by a sustained decline, which has led the price to where it is right now.
Verdict: This is definitely a tie. Binance.US offers the same low trading fees that Binance does. Therefore, while Americans may not have access to as many cryptocurrencies on the U.S. platform, they will at least pay the lowest trading fees in the world.
