A digital token inspired by the popular South Korean Netflix series Squid Game has lost almost all of its value as it was revealed to be an apparent scam.
But that doesn’t mean it’s completely secure in the same way most people consider the U.S. dollar or other established currencies to be secure. Since cryptocurrency isn’t backed by any governmental authority, it doesn’t have the same protections as many standard currencies throughout the world.

Despite having no top celebrity, actors, musicians, and entrepreneurs backing it, SafeMoon has still managed to gain the limelight. Its investors are mostly common folks spread across the world who want a better life for themselves and their families.
The university hopes the move will raise funding for large-scale conservation and restoration initiatives.
