Spot trading means you’re not technically “buying” the cryptocurrency, but instead trading your USD for it through either a market or a limit order. A market order means you agree to trade for the currency at the current market price. Medium term refers to the 8–16 and 16–32 day bands. Long term will be used to refer to the 32–64, 64–128, 128–256 and 256–512 day bands. Reported Volume calculates volume from all exchanges with market pairs, but due to factors such as wash trading, it is considered an unreliable metric.
