In what traders call a “scam wick,” the one-minute BTC/USD differed dramatically from other major exchanges, which logged a one-minute candle with a floor of around $64,200.
Take Bitcoin for example, if you want to get Bitcoin on Binance.US, here’s how you would do it to make sure you only pay that 0.1% fee, and not the 0.5% fee:
.
In this eventuality, BTC could drop toward the 100 or 200 four-hour moving average. These demand zones sit at $59,000 and $52,000 respectively.
“Bitcoin appears to be pushing out of a bullish flag pattern, and Ether is likely to confirm a long-term breakout on a close above resistance this Friday,” said Katie Stockton, founder and managing partner of Fairlead Strategies, in a note.

All the signs, however, were there. Like previous bubbles, people were basing their belief in the cryptocurrency on their emotions, not any intrinsic value. Then there was the FOMO element, which only compounded things. Essentially, bitcoin became an international fever. Random companies were “pivoting to blockchain” for no apparent reason other than that it seemed like a way to create buzz. But when the bubble bursts, FOMO turns into fear of losing, which makes for an especially rapid plunge.
Ultimately, many experts believe regulation is a good thing for the industry. “Sensible regulation is a win for everyone,” says Ben Weiss, CEO and cofounder of CoinFlip, a cryptocurrency buying platform and crypto ATM network. “It gives people more confidence in crypto, but I think it’s something we have to take our time on and we have to get it right.”

And that, we regret to inform you, has led to some rather silly thinking (highly unusual in the crypto community, we know), specifically of the chart-crime variety:
One of the clearest distinctions between the main Binance platform and Binance.US is the number of cryptocurrencies (and fiat currencies) with which you can trade. As of early 2021, the number of cryptocurrencies on Binance.US stood at just 53, while the original version of the platform supports over 200 different coins.

Margin is a key part of leveraged trading. It is the term used to describe the initial deposit you put up to open and maintain a leveraged position. When you are trading cryptocurrencies on margin, remember that your margin requirement will change depending on your broker, and how large your trade size is.
